9:30 a.m. Children Sunday School (K - 9th, Labor Day through Memorial Day)
9:30 a.m. Choir Rehearsal
10:30 a.m. Worship with Nursery Care
When you open the doors to FCC on a Sunday morning and you will hear the greetings of friends, the playful voices of children, and our awesome choir practicing. You will see people wearing jeans, shorts, dresses, Cards and Cubs t-shirts, and an occasional necktie. You’ll be welcomed at the door and given a program to guide you through the service. Our out-going members will talk with you, and our shy ones will also be glad to see a new face. Sit wherever you’d like. Our sanctuary is a striking mix of contemporary simplicity and historic stained glass windows.
If you’d like your children to participate in Sunday School, it begins at 9:30. Someone can introduce you and your child(ren) to the teacher. Everyone involved with children’s care has passed a background check and there are always two adults present.
Our worship is a time to learn from scripture, listen for the Spirit’s leading, sing, pray, give, and participate in communion. We believe that Jesus is the host at the table, so everyone is welcome to receive communion (bread – gluten free and wheat, grape juice, or wine). After worship everyone is invited to a time of conversation, coffee and snacks, in an adjoining large room. You would bless us with your presence any Sunday. If you have questions or can assist in your visit, feel free to call us at 618-457-6817 or email [email protected].
